Fortunately I was close enough to this Cheetah mom who slaked her thirst with three cubs at the almost dried up waterhole in the bone dry semi-desert of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in South Africa, to notice her beautiful amber eyes. She kept watching me slightly boastfully which enabled me to capture the fascinating moment with my camera.
