Burford is a great place to visit.
Burford is a great place to visit. The shops are individual and interesting and it is one of the best places for pubs with open fires in winter. It is a very attractive place with many interesting buildings. A short distance away is a wonderful garden centre. We ate one night at the Highway Inn where we were staying and the next night at the Lamb. Good meals in both.

Lovely friendly staff, they couldn’t do enough for us. Sarah sorted the rooms out. Ioan, big Jake, Ruth, Maisey and Grace were also extremely helpful in their allocated roles. Beautiful hotel and windrush room was gorgeous. We are there in the evenings and both nights the food was delicious.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Very cosy hotel stayed before only do so on our visits to Cheltenham races in the winter months.Easy to get into Cheltenham races through out short cuts across country!! Prices rooms little cheaper great compared to hotels nearer Cheltenham eg Wyck Hill House also Queens hotel Cheltenham amongst others stayed in past.

Beautiful place to visit, walk around, shop, eat and drink and enjoy the incredible architecture Take your camera. There's lots to photograph. The location is great on Burford High Street so you can experience the local pubs and the locals, which is interesting. Check-in was dead easy and the room absolutely perfect. Very clean and comfortable twin room with plenty of space and a lot of character for a great price. The breakfast was absolutely excellent, full English breakfast served up hot and quickly with tea and coffee.

The property is beyond charming, and is in walking distance to High Street in Burford with its many shops and restaurants/pubs. Our room was well-appointed with beautiful views and the most comfortable bed we slept in while in England. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and as if it couldn't get any better, the owner's adorable dogs stole our hearts.

Parking is restricted in town but there is a decent sized free car park close to the hotel. Phone signal is Burford is awful but the hotel has free wifi, as did most of the pubs visited.
